Hi! I’m glad you’re here.

I discovered weightlifting at the age of 15, when my mom joined our local YMCA. To use the free weights at my age, I had to complete a weightlifting course—and once I did, I was hooked. Since then, I’ve explored nearly every style of training: CrossFit, HIIT, powerlifting, and everything in between.

Throughout the 2010s, my mindset was very much “no days off” and “lift as heavy as possible." I believed that more effort, more sweat, and more hours in the gym always equaled better results. As I’ve matured, I’ve realized that mentality often did more harm than good and that recovery is part of the work. Now, I believe in intentional rest—for both the body and the mind—and equally in intentional movement. I train with purpose, not punishment, and spend my time in the gym moving in ways that support longevity, strength, and overall well-being. Today, my approach is rooted in intuitive movement, with a focus on functional strength and mobility.

I took my first yoga class around the age of 18. I’ll be honest—I didn’t love it. But it felt like something I should do. I drifted in and out of studios for a few years, not quite finding my rhythm. Then, at 25, during a low point in my life, a dear friend invited me to a yoga sculpt class. I went. I fell in love—with the class, yes, but mostly with the instructor. I started taking more of her classes, eventually trading sculpt for vinyasa, and soon I couldn’t get enough. My practice deepened, expanded, and became a consistent part of my life.

My teaching journey began in December 2021. My (then) fiancé gifted me a yoga block—despite the fact that I already owned six. When I looked at him, confused, he explained it represented my 200-hour yoga teacher training, and I could choose the one I wanted to attend. I was thrilled, but insisted that I still wouldn’t pursue teaching. He just smiled and said, “Yes, you will. It’s time to get out of your own way.”

I completed my 200-hour YTT through Ra Yoga in Costa Mesa, CA in October 2022. Within two weeks of starting, I finally admitted to myself (and to others) that I’d always wanted to teach—I was just scared. Two weeks after finishing the program, I started teaching, while juggling a full-time corporate career in sales and marketing. A year later, I reached a breaking point: the more I taught, the more my soul felt crushed by my 9–5. In winter 2024, I took the leap, left my corporate job, and stepped fully into teaching and training. I completed my 300-hour YTT in Koh Samui, Thailand in December 2024.

When I’m not teaching yoga or working with clients one-on-one, you can find me traveling the world, riding my motorcycle, or playing with my two pups.
